This afternoon. Yes, that is dirt around Miss1's mouth - she had recently been exploring a pot-plant. (The sorry remains of our sunflower race, as it happens. We have one plant valiantly struggling on, but whether it flowers before the Southern Hemisphere winter is upon us is doubtful...)
